2000 to Present – Ridge & Associates, Inc.
Project Engineer and Design Engineer with 14 years experience in the design of hydrocarbon storage and loading terminals. Project Engineer experience includes the design and management of several “grass roots” refined-product terminals in several Midwestern states. Recent projects include design engineering at crude oil storage facilities, ethanol conversion projects, and airport refueling projects. Finally, have overseen the design of terminal automation systems at over 50 different loading rack terminals throughout the U.S., for multiple oil companies.

1992 to 2000 – Omega Mechanical Design
Owner/Mechanical Designer. Responsibilities included the mechanical design of special assembly machinery and equipment. Included project management and test of machinery.

1987 to 1992 – Ridge & Associates, Inc.
Designer/Draftsman for electrical schematics, flow sheets, piping, and electrical control system drawings.  Provided design and supervision of numerous terminal automation systems at truck loading terminals.

1985 to 1987 – Midwest Laser Systems, Inc.
Machine Designer and Project Engineer. Responsibilities included the design and detail of precision welding and thermoforming machines. Responsibilities also included project supervision and coordination of several thermoforming and transfer lines.

1984 to 1985 – Owens-Illinois Corp.
Production Supervisor responsible for the supervision of hourly production workers in an automated corrugated box plant.
