Design Engineer.  Design various aspects of loading rack terminal power systems.  Create one-line diagrams and other electrical drawings.

Consulting Engineer.  Designed and implemented a generation dispatch model using Visual Basic for Microsoft Excel.  Developed testimony and exhibits for a rate case.  Prepared long term power supply plan studies for municipal utilities.

Summers 2002 and 2003;
May 2004 to October 2006 –
DTE Energy

Summer Student, Associate Engineer, and Staff Engineer.  Worked in the Operating & Risk Assessment and Operation & Planning Engineering groups.  Wrote System Operating Procedure documents.  Studied and monitored daily transmission and sub-transmission equipment shutdowns.  Provided operational support for real-time operation of the electrical system.  Created computer programs to assist in power flow calculations.  Wrote test procedures for and performed Factory Acceptance Testing of a SCADA system.
