SYNOPSIS
The Boligee Barge Loading Project involved the complete design of a grass-roots pipeline receipt/barge loading/truck loading terminal for refined products.  Included were a pipeline receipt manifold, barge loading dock on the Tenn-Tom Waterway, (5) above ground storage tanks, truck loading rack, and tug servicing dock.  Other features of the terminal included a fire pump drawing from the river to supply fire water; a dry chemical fire system for the truck loading rack; ethanol blending at the truck rack; a boat launch ramp for deploying a spill boat; a marine vapor combustion unit with propane supply tank; security systems including cameras, TWIC card readers, and automatic gates; and complete terminal automation system.
