November, 2011—Plains All-American Pipeline issues a
work order to Ridge & Associates, Inc. for design work on the latest phase
in an on-going series of projects at Plains facilities in Patoka, IL, including
new tanks and tie-ins to existing pipelines and tanks.
November, 2011—Ridge & Associates,
Inc. is requested by Sunoco Logistics Partners, LP to do additional
design work for a series of ethanol blending projects previously designed by
Ridge at a number of terminals in PA and NJ.
November, 2011—Plains Midstream Canada issues a
PO to Ridge & Associates, Inc. for engineering services to design a new
truck off-loading pumping system for their existing LPG truck/rail transloading facility in Ross, ND.
November 1, 2011—Ridge & Associates,
Inc. celebrates the 35th Anniversary of the firm’s founding on
November 1, 1976.
October, 2011—Sunoco Logistics Partners, LP contracts
with Ridge & Associates, Inc. to design sump tank installations for several
previously-designed ethanol off-load facilities at Sunoco Logistics terminals
in Texas and Louisiana.
October,
2011—Plains
All-American Pipeline, LP asks Ridge & Associates, Inc. to provide
drawing review services for a series of projects in North Dakota.
October, 2011—Ridge & Associates, Inc. is requested by K-Va-T
Foods to study the feasibility and cost of a petroleum
storage and loading terminal.
October, 2011—Sunoco Logistics awards a PO to Ridge
& Associates, Inc. for the design of an upgrade and expansion of an
existing crude oil terminal in Freeport, TX. Included in the project are
tank repairs, new metering skids, and electrical control upgrades.
September, 2011—BP Pipelines, N.A. gives
a work order to Ridge & Associates, Inc. for the design of a biodiesel
installation at BP’s Wood River, IL terminal.
September, 2011—Ridge & Associates,
Inc. is awarded a contract by Deeprock Energy Resources, LLC to design
the piping and booster pump installation for the Phase 3 expansion at
Deeprock’s North Terminal in Cushing, OK. Included is the design of
piping to connect (3) new crude storage tanks to a new piping manifold, a new
booster pump, and an existing terminal manifold.
August, 2011—Enbridge Energy awards a Work Order to
Ridge & Associates, Inc. for the design of site work and piping for an
additional (4) tank expansion at Enbridge’s Cushing, OK Terminal. The
project includes the relocation of several existing underground pipelines to
permit the construction of (4) new crude oil storage tanks, the construction of
a containment dike with retaining wall, the installation of several 30”
diameter tank suction/fill lines, and the extension of a previously-constructed
manifold.
August, 2011—Plains All-American Pipeline awards a
contract to Ridge & Associates, Inc. for the design of a crude oil storage
and rail car loading facility in Ross, ND. Included are new storage
tanks, truck receiving facilities, and rail car loading facilities for Bakken
crude oil production.
June, 2011—BP Pipelines awards a work order to
Ridge & Associates, Inc. for the design of containment dike improvements at
BP’s Nashville, TN terminal.
May, 2011—Sunoco Logistics awards a PO to R A to
design a red dye installation for their Hebert, TX facility. Ridge &
Associates, Inc. recently designed a complete ethanol blending system at the
same facility.
May, 2011—Ridge & Associates, Inc. is awarded
contracts to design (2) asphalt storage and loading terminals for Bahamas
Hot Mix Co., Ltd. The facilities will be located in Nassau and Freeport,
Bahamas. Included will be storage tanks, truck loading, hot oil heating
system, and receipt from ships.
April, 2011—Enbridge Energy Company awards a Work
Order for engineering related to the demolition and replacement of (6) above
ground crude oil storage tanks at Enbridge’s Cushing, OK terminal.
Included will be civil site work, electrical power, electrical controls, and
connection of the new tanks to existing tank lines and manifolds.
April, 2011—Ridge & Associates, Inc. is awarded a PO by
Graver Tank Company to assist them in the evaluation of various existing
petroleum terminal properties for potential purchase by a client.
Included would be site visits, existing equipment investigation, and cost
estimates.
April,
2011—Ridge & Associates, Inc. receives
approval from Enbridge Energy to
proceed to the next phase of the ongoing development of an area map for
Enbridge’s Cushing, OK Terminal. The
purpose of the area map project is to identify all existing tanks, piping, and
manifolds on a consolidated aerial map of the facility.
March,
2011—Cenex awards a contract to Ridge &
Associates, Inc. for the design of major upgrades to the Cenex Terminal in
McFarland, WI. Included will be new
above ground piping, new loading rack equipment, new terminal automation
equipment, new pumps, and electrical power and control upgrades. Ridge’s services will also include
procurement assistance and project management assistance.
March,
2011—Ridge & Associates, Inc. receives a
PO from Pipe Products, Inc. for the
design of an LPG unloading skid for installation in Ross, ND. Included are design of the structural
fabrication, piping, and electrical.
March,
2011—BP
Pipelines, NA issues a PO to Ridge & Associates, Inc. to study the
installation of portable Vapor Combustion Units (VCU) at several BP Terminals
in the Midwest.
March, 2011—Ridge & Associates, Inc. is contracted by Magellan
Crude Oil, LLC, to design a piping connection from Magellan Crude’s
Cushing, OK tank farm (currently under construction) to an adjacent crude oil
truck unloading station.
February, 2011—Ridge & Associates, Inc. receives a
modification to a current PO to design the next phase of expansion at the
Patoka, IL facility of Plains All American Pipeline, LLC.
February, 2011—Gulf Oil, LP awards a contract to Ridge
& Associates, Inc. to design an ethanol rail car unloading facility at
Gulf’s Neville Island, PA Terminal. Included will be new rail spurs, unloading
pumps, piping, and spill containment.
February, 2011—Ridge & Associates, Inc. is awarded
a purchase order from Gulf Oil LP for the design of modifications to the
existing Gulf Oil terminal in Altoona, PA. Included will be new meters, new
above ground piping to the loading rack, new ethanol pumps, and related piping
and structural work.
February, 2011—Continental Contractors, Inc. of Cushing, OK,
awards a PO to Ridge & Associates, Inc. for the design of a concrete
ringwall for a new storage tank in Oklahoma for Blue Knight Energy.
January, 2011—Ridge & Associates, Inc. is awarded
a contract by the Gas Technology
Institute to design a gasoline storage and loading
facility at GTI’s research facility in Des Plaines, IL.
October, 2010—BP Pipelines, N. A. issues a work order
to Ridge & Associates, Inc. for design of a spill containment system at an
ethanol rail car staging area at BP's Jacksonville, FL Terminal, consisting of
a plastic liner, drainage swale, and related drain piping and valves.
September, 2010—Enbridge Energy issues a
work order to Ridge & Associates, Inc. for the detailed engineering design
of the next phase of expansion at Enbridge's Cushing, OK Terminal.
Included are (5) new storage tanks, related site work, necessary piping, and
electrical work.
September, 2010—IC RailMarine, Inc. awards
a PO to Ridge & Associates, Inc. to design an additional barge connection
point for the UAN Storage and Loading Facility that Ridge & Associates,
Inc. designed in 2008 at IC RailMarine's Convent, LA facility.
September, 2010—Ridge & Associates,
Inc. is awarded a contract by Plains All-American Pipeline for the design of Phase
X and Phase XI expansions of the Plains crude oil terminal in Cushing, OK.
Included are up to (14) storage tanks and related site work, piping, pump, and
electrical work.
August, 2010—Consolidated Terminals and Logistics Company
(CTLC) completes the construction and start-up of a facility to unload
ethanol from rail cars and load it directly into barges on the Ohio River,
in Mt. Vernon, IN. The facility was designed by Ridge & Associates, Inc.,
and, unlike similar facilities, is designed to unload (4) tank cars simultaneously,
and pump them directly into a barge, without any tankage. In the near future,
the facility will add a Marine Vapor Recovery Unit (MVRU) and a direct pipeline
connection from an ethanol plant.
August, 2010—Plains All-American Pipeline awards a Purchase
Order to Ridge & Associates, Inc. for the design of the Phase IX
expansion of the Cushing, OK crude oil terminal. Included are (2) new
storage tanks and connection to a major new incoming crude oil pipeline, and
all related piping, electrical, and site work.
July,
2010—Ridge
& Associates, Inc. is issued a work order by BP Pipelines, N. A. to
design an ethanol rail car unloading system at an existing BP terminal in
Jacksonville, FL. Included were spill pans, off-load pumps, piping, and related
electrical control systems.
July, 2010—Plains All-American Pipeline awards a PO to
Ridge & Associates, Inc. for the upgrading of (2) pump stations on a
crude oil pipeline in Oklahoma. Included are pump and equipment improvements to
increase throughput in the pipeline.
June 30, 2010—Ridge & Associates, Inc. announces the
retirement of Office Manager Pat Ricketts after 34 years of dedicated
service with the company.
June, 2010—Enbridge Energy awards a PO to Ridge &
Associates, Inc. for preliminary engineering related to an expansion project at
the Enbridge terminal in Cushing, OK.
June, 2010—Jacobs Petroleum of Waynesburg, PA awards a
contract to Ridge & Associates, Inc. to design the upgrading/rebuilding
of (2) existing bulk plants in Waynesburg, PA, and Oakland, MD.
Included are new vertical shop-built storage tanks, loading rack, pumps,
related piping, and related electrical control system.
June, 2010—Plains All-American Pipeline hires Ridge &
Associates, Inc. to design the Phase 8 tank farm expansion at the Plains
terminal in Cushing, OK. Included are (2) new 200’ diameter above ground
crude oil storage tanks, related piping, and a new pipeline connection into
several existing storage tanks in the terminal.
April, 2010—Ridge & Associates, Inc. is engaged by HLH
Construction Company to design the piping and related pumping system for a new
crude oil tank farm in Cushing, OK, for Magellan Crude, LLC.
February, 2010—Ridge & Associates, Inc. completes design
of the last of (11) biodiesel blending systems at Sunoco Logistics
Terminals in PA, NJ, and OH. Included were new vertical tanks, blending
units, pump skids, and tie-ins to electrical control and piping systems.
January, 2010—IC RailMarine of Convent, LA, completes the
start-up and commissioning of a facility to receive UAN liquid fertilizer
from ships and load it into barges, rail cars, and trucks. The facility was
designed by Ridge & Associates, Inc., and included (2) large field-erected
storage tanks, loading pumps, related piping, control system, and integration
into the existing river dock and rail car handling systems.
January, 2010—Sunoco Logistics awards a
purchase order to Ridge & Associates, Inc. to design ethanol blending
systems at (5) newly-acquired terminals in Texas and Louisiana. Included
were both field-erected and shop-built storage tanks, blending units,
off-loading equipment, pumps, and tie-ins to existing power and control
systems.
